The neighborhood extends all the way from Mangrove Bay and Tanglewood into Old Tampa Bay. It connects to Snell Isle and Northeast Park by bridges and Weedon Island State Preserve to the north and to the east. The neighborhood has luxury, waterfront homes located on the bay.

They have a wade pool which is perfect for toddlers and also a six lane pool for adults. In addition, you will find a covered playground and a basketball half court and finally, a shelter with a picnic area. The center also has a large variety of programs for youth, teens and also adults. The Shore Acres Recreation Center is a great place for neighborhood families to come together and have some fun.
Shore Acres Elementary is the neighborhood's local elementary school. It's one of St. Petersburg’s top rated public schools and therefore, a highly reputable school. In addition, the neighborhood is also very close to downtown St. Petersburg, shopping and also dining. It's also close to lots of entertainment and the highway. In most communities, you can find a thing or two you don't like, but it's hard to find something you don't like about Shore Acres.
